Four Kapuso actresses will topbill the remake of the classic movie Temptation Island directed by Joey Gosiengfiao. Produced by Regal Films, Temptation Island narrates the misadventures of four beauty contestants from a fictional “Miss Manila Sunshine Beauty Pageant.” They were stranded in a desert island with no food, water, and shelter.
Prior to the final announcement, names of potential cast members of Temptation Island, to include likes of Andi Eigenmann, Angelica Panganiban, and Carla Abellana, among others. However, it was confirmed that Marian Rivera, Heart Evangelista, Lovi Poe and Solenn Heussaff will be playing the roles of the four beauty contestants.
Marian Rivera will be reprising the role of a con artist originally portrayed by Azenith Briones. Solenn Heussaff, on the other hand, will portray the role of a social climber originally played by Bambi Arambulo
Lovi Poe will bring life to the role of a socialite originally played by Jennifer Cortez while Heart Evangelista reprises the role of a college student originally played by Dina Bonnevie.
Among the leading men reported to be playing as love interests to the lead stars are Aljur Abrenica, Paulo Avelino, and Tom Rodriguez.
